Interpreters of Excellence is a support and training group for church
interpreters, sign ministries, and sign-mime choirs. Under the direction of
Dr./Rev. Helen Williams, who is also the Special Events Coordinator for LUYHM.
This organization and LUYHM often collaborates on events and activities.
Royal Family Kids Camp is a non-profit overnight summer camp for abused foster
children ages 6-12. This camp is funded & staffed by donations and volunteers.
LUYHM has had a long standing relationship with this camp by fund raising,
ministering to the kids through sign-mime and volunteering at the week long summer

ASLPRO is an interactive website where you can practice and learn American Sign
Language (ASL).  It was created to be a free resource for the classroom teacher to
create accounts and personalize a quiz for their students' use. The general public is
welcome to view their site, but it should be noted that this site is not designed to be
a stand alone tool. A user's best course of action is to enroll in an ASL class with a
qualified teacher who can guide them in such variations as regional differences and
facial expressions that are not addressed in their video database.
